Chris Casey You-Tube: Jogging, it's suppose to be wild.
Keene, NH Chris has 23 years of running under his belt with the past 7 years dedicated to trail and ultra distance races. After running his first 50k in 2011, he has continued to push the endurance envelope competing in distances of up to 60 miles. Chris is looking to complete his first 100 mile race in October at the Ghost Trail Rail Trail Ultra in Brookline, NH. Clint Joslyn
Swanzey, NH Clint has been running and racing in the Greater Keene Area for almost 15 years. He has raced distances from the mile to the 50K. Clint, now in his 40's enjoys spending time with his family as well as crushing some fast 5k's. He will also be working to improve on his marathon time. Clint coaches cross country at the Monadnock Middle School where he demonstrates his passion for promoting youth running in our community. He is also the race director of the Ididarun 10k. |
Lou Kaletsky
Swanzey, NH Lou began running just a year ago, in that time he has enjoyed everything he has tried from 5k and 10k's to trail races as well as various club running events. As a new runner, Lou's goals are focused on testing his limits in both distance and speed and discovering just what he has the potential to accomplish. He is very proud of his progress thus far and is excited to see what's next. Something that Lou would be interested in trying would be the Mt. Washington Road Race. Lou is currently training around 8:30 pace - his goals are simple: run further, run faster. |
Heather Lancey
Keene, NH Heather began running in 2009 - She likes challenging, unique, and fun races. One of her favorite races and perhaps the most fun is the Harpoon Oktoberfest race. Heather is most proud of completing her first Half Marathon at the DeMar and will be looking to do the DeMar Marathon in the future. Heather will also like to try shifting from roads to the trails and will be looking to do the Pisgah 50K. With these kind of goals, Heather will be looking to maintain a good pace year round and working to compete in longer events. Training pace 8:00-9:30. |
Ed Liebfried mailto:[email protected]
Swanzey, NH An active runner through the 90’s and early 2000s and long time member of the Winner’s Circle club over on the Seacoast, Ed, now 65, is making a comeback after more than a dozen years away from the running scene. Favorite races: Mt. Washington (last run in 1998 but in training now!), all 10-20 milers, and the now-defunct Lake Winnipesaukee Relay. Ed plans to assist with the Monadnock Middle School X-C team if approved. Susanne Olson
Keene, NH As a recreational runner of about 10 years, Susanne decided to take it to the next level in 2009 when she participated in the Rock and Roll Half Marathon in Phoenix, AZ. Something about the energy and camaraderie in the air at that first race has called her back to run in 5 marathons, one 24K trail race, and multiple half marathons,10ks and 5ks. A mid-pack runner, Susanne is not out to win the race, she is rather happy if she can shave a few minutes, or even a few seconds, off her previous time. Susanne is currently working to complete the USATF Mountain Goat Series for a by-pass into the 2016 Mt Washington Road Race. Her next ambitious goal is to complete the Pisgah 50k trail race in September of 2015. Susanne is a regular participant in the Keene Sunday running group the meets at Brewbaker's in Keene every Sunday at 8:30am. Brad Smedley
Keene, NH Brad started his running journey in 1998 after a more than generous Thanksgiving Day feast – he’s been hooked ever since. A dedicated mid-pack, social runner, Brad has completed all the major running events from 5k's to marathons. Throw in a few Reach The Beach Relays as well. However, he likes the half marathon the best. You will frequently find Brad on the dark pre-dawn streets in all year round weather conditions. He will not be hard to spot at running an 8 to 9:00 pace depending on the distance. |
